Thames Water has rescheduled its public meeting to Thursday, 17 September, 7.00pm at Hammersmith Town Hall. The meeting - to provide an update on the proposals to Ofwat for the Counters Creek area - will be of particular interest to residents affected by localised sewer-related flooding.
Counters Creek covers much of the borough's sewer system. Thames Water said last October that it was investigating the borough's flood-prone areas with a view to asking Ofwat for funds in the 2010-15 spending period to develop a full plan for localised flood alleviation.
Thames Water subsequently included this in its submission in April.
The draft findings of Ofwat were available on 23 July and Ofwat is expected to attend the public meeting in H&F.
