H & F Council is trumpeting in its local "newspaper" that is is finally taking legal action against the owners of a fire damaged building on North End Road, a mere seven years late.
The building has been encased in scaffolding since a fire left it badly damaged. The council is boasting that it is going to take legal action to force the owners to repair the building, and will take them to court for not having a scaffolding licence.
Local people in North End Road and users of West Kensington tube will wonder why the council has only just realised that there was no scaffolding licence, since it is 7 years since the fire and since the scaffolding went up.
