Hammersmith and Fulham Council has taken two months to repair a dangerous pothole on the Fulham Road, where a cyclist was seriously injured several weeks ago.
Potholes in cycle lanes can be extremely hazardous, and Liberal Democrat campaigner Paul Kennedy is concerned about the maintenance (or lack of it) of the cycle lanes in his area. Paul commented: "It is a relief that a small stretch of the Fulham Road is no longer a hazard for local cyclists. However, the two month delay in repairing the road is inexcusable and would have proved to be a very false economy if it had led to further injuries.
This single-party Conservative-led administration needs to start putting residents first for a change."
