The Council is hosting a meeting tomorrow on the super sewer at Hurlingham & Chelsea School in Sands End SW6, at which Stephen Greenhalgh, Greg Hands, Kit Malthouse and others will be touting their alternatives to tackling the sewage overflows into the Thames.
We need as many local residents as possible to attend to expose the Tories' hypocrisy and betrayal of local residents.
Many people believe it is the Council's ecosceptic antics which have allowed Zac Goldsmith (who supports the sewer) to persuade Thames Water to build their sewer shaft in a residential street in Fulham, rather than next to the existing water works in Barn Elms.
The Council's latest free newsletter (paid for by Council taxpayers) says how much disruption the sewer construction will cause for residents, but the Tory Council have been more interested in supporting the newly elected Tory MP for Richmond than in protecting the interests of Fulham residents.
Please come if you can.
