A former Liberal Democrat local councillor, Dinti lives in Hammersmith with her family. She has been active in many Lib Dem campaigns, including the campaign against Heathrow expansion, and stood as No. 3 on the Liberal Democrat European Parliament list for London in the Euro election.
Dinti grew up in Asia and came to the UK as a teenager. She read Social and Political Sciences at Cambridge University and has an MBA from INSEAD business school in France.
Dinti's professional background is as a lawyer and businesswoman. In 1990, Dinti was "UK Young Linguist of the Year" - she is fluent in Italian, Spanish, and French as well as speaking basic Portuguese and Japanese. Her linguistic talents derive in no small part from her diverse family background - Italian, Spanish, American with a touch of Polish and Mexican!
