Nathalie Bristow
NATHALIE BRISTOW lives in Shepherds Bush and owns local Cupboard Cafe. As a former barrister she has invaluable experience in areas such as housing, family matters, crime and civil litigation especially when she ran a free Legal Centre. Nathalie is very involved with the local community through her cafe, her childrens school, her church and membership on the Shepherds Bush Businesses Forum. With 3 young children she is passionate about local education, as a parent of an child with a chronic condition she is motivated to improve access to the NHS, and as a small business owner she will champion the revitalisation of Askew Road shops.
Once a Labour supporter she has joined the Lib Dems along with thousands others to support a party which believes in fairness, voted against the war, and is growing. She sees running for Council as an extension of her community activity, passion to make the streets where we all live to be cleaner, safer and better run particularly regarding public services cuts - her disgust at the introduction of £12.40/h charge for Home Care was her inspiration for standing.
What is happening in Askew? Nathalia and the rest of our team have been working in the ward, listening to you. Their blog will bring you up to date on the issues in the ward. http://askewlibdems.wordpress.com/
